This report is based on responses from 25 attendees at our SugarCRM Workshop event in December 2025. Participants primarily included sales, marketing, and revenue operations leaders—all active users of SugarCRM.

We asked participants various questions to gauge their feelings about AI and learn more about how they use it in their working day.

Have you used AI already today?

  • 72% of respondents had already used AI on the day in question, while 28% reported not yet utilising AI.

This indicates that AI is becoming a mainstream tool among the polled demographic.

How do you feel about AI?

  • Over half of the participants (56%) were feeling excited about AI.
  • 28% were cautiously curious about AI.
  • Meanwhile, 12% were feeling mild panic at the thought of AI, and only 4% didn’t see what all the fuss was about.

How does AI impact your working day?

  • 44% of respondents said that AI saves them admin time, while 48% reported that they utilise AI for research.
  • Meanwhile, only 8% said that AI practically does their job for them.

This suggests that AI is currently being used as an assistant and productivity amplifier rather than a replacement.

How many AI tools do you use in an average week?

  • 56% participants reported that they used 1-2 different AI tools in an average week.
  • 32% said that they used 3-4 AI tools, while only 12% said they use 5 or more tools.

From these numbers, we can infer that users might not be aware of the various uses for AI, as the majority are only using a small number of different AI tools.

This report suggests that users are already utilising AI daily but within safe, efficiency-driven boundaries. Some still have some anxiety around AI, but the majority are on board and ready for more AI.
