SugarVoice FAQs

Yes you can! You can use both your smartphone via an app or a physical handset/ desk phone.

When switching to a VoIP phone system, you can keep your current landline number  – but at a much lower cost! Like with traditional phones, you only need to port your number to the new service provider. To initiate it, simply submit the numbers you wish to keep to your new service provider and follow any further instructions.

Yes. Not only are our VoIP telephone lines secure, we also record every call meaning you can securely review customer information to proceed with payment.

Although you can view and listen back to any of your calls at any time on SugarCRM, the calls are stored on a separate server. This provides you with that extra level of security when handling customer information, whilst making it simple and easy to view what you need to, when you need to.

VoIP is obviously subject to online security threats due to the nature of the internet technology behind the system. At enable, we implement multiple methods to prevent such issues happening. With good cybersecurity practices among your office and on-location staff, VoIP can be as secure as the rest of your business.
If you’re still unsure, we can implement extra practices such as authentication, enabling network address translation, and the use of VPN or add a new internet line.

No. Group permissions mean that it is standard that only SugarCRM admins can view and listen back to calls. You can create permission groups to only those who you want to be able to view this information.
