At any given point, we have roughly 300 clients running through various parts of their production or distribution cycle. Prior to dapulse, I had zero insight where our customers were in their life cycle without digging through emails or other software programs. We were using Microsoft Excel + Basecamp + memory + whiteboard.

Another thing that happens as you grow, is that each feature or event involves many more people and departments. This lets people become experts in what they do and focus on what they’re good at, but it also presents a problem in which the vision of the big picture is lost. People start to feel like executioners and not owners.

When I saw the product, it was a no-brainer. It was amazing. The UI itself is very clean and very easy to use. I like the ability to customise each board based on each department’s needs — our post production board is different from our pre-production board.
