Sugar 8 end-of-life

Sugar Enterprise and Sugar Professional Version 8 have begun the End-of-Life process. 

Support for Version 8 is being discontinued as SugarCRM continues to innovate and add more features, enhancements and bug fixes to newer editions. It is recommended that you upgrade to a supported version in order to benefit from continuous fixes, including any security issues that may arise. 

As per the SugarCRM support policy, all on-premise releases are supported for 18 months from the General Availability date followed by an additional six months of security-only updates. 

Sugar 8 was released in April 2018 and will reach planned End-of-Life and End-of-Support on April 30, 2020
